Nori Algae RA is a natural supplementary food for aquarium inhabitants that benefit from plant-based ingredients in their diet. It is especially readily accepted by Otocinclus, plecos, molly, guppy, Neocaridina shrimp and Caridina shrimp. Nori is made from red marine algae, valued for its rich nutritional profile. It is a source of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, minerals and natural polysaccharides, including porphyran, a compound characteristic of red algae. Thanks to the large sheet format, the food can be easily divided into smaller portions and adjusted to the number of animals in the aquarium. When placed in water, nori quickly softens, and its texture resembles soft biofilm or delicate algae that many species naturally graze on.
