The main ingredient of the supplement is Devil’s Claw root (Harpagophytum procumbens DC) – a plant known for its versatile health-promoting action. It contains a number of active substances including iridoid glycosides (harpagoside, harpagide, prokumboside), verbascoside, isoacteoside, flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol, luteolin), phytosterols (incl. beta-sitosterol), triterpenes (e.g., oleanoic acid), as well as phenolic acids, plant waxes and fats. It is these compounds that account for the anti-inflammatory, analgesic and strengthening properties of the preparation. Supplement supports the animal’s body in the course of: degenerative joint diseases (e.g., osteoarthritis), inflammatory conditions of tendons and ligaments, painful ailments of the muscles and the musculoskeletal system, injuries and overexertion from physical activity, inflammatory diseases – after consulting with a veterinarian. Moreover, devil’s claw has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the digestive system: it improves the secretion of gastric juices, supports digestive processes, acts as a choleretic and anti-inflammatory in the liver and digestive tract. It may also be helpful in disorders such as hypochlorhydria or impaired bile flow. Thanks to the flavonoids and phytosterols, the plant also helps fight diseases of allergic and autoimmune origin, such as psoriasis or chronic inflammatory conditions of the skin, eyes and ears. Its versatile action makes it a valuable element supporting not only the locomotor system but also the overall condition of the body. Recommended use: The product is especially recommended for older animals, physically active, convalescents and those suffering from chronic inflammatory joint conditions. It also works well as preventive support during periods of increased exertion. The product does not contain synthetic additives or GMOs. It can be used as a supplement to the BARF diet and traditional feeding. Dosage/24h Dogs: 1 g per 10 kg body weight. In case of acute symptoms, the amount of product administered may be increased to 2 g per 10 kg body weight. Cats: 0.5 g A scoop is included in the packaging.
