What specifications should the canister filter have? – It simply needs the correct hose diameter and a flow rate of at least 300 L/h and no more than 1500 L/h. Which aquarium size? – As a standalone filter (requires a separate water pump rated 500–2000 L/h), it can handle aquariums from 70 to 250 litres. – As a pre-filter, it works best for aquariums from 100 to 350 litres.
