Hatching Instructions: Provide 25 grams to 35 grams (+/- 1 tablespoon) of sea salt per liter of water and add +/- 2 grams of ON Brine Shrimp Eggs per liter. (For precise measuring, we recommend the Multi Digital Spoon) When using table salt, it is best to add +/- 3 grams (1 teaspoon) of sodium bicarbonate (soybean soda). You can use tap water. Pour salted water into a conical-shaped container with the top pointing downwards (we recommend JBL Artemio Set) with the air pump running. Make sure the water temperature stays between 26 ° – 29 ° during the incubation period. (Do not exceed 30 ° C). The air tube should reach the bottom of the breeding vessel to ensure vigorous and uniform mixing. Air stone is not recommended. Add the eggs to the hatching water and make sure the air keeps the eggs in suspension. The eggs will hatch into very small, almost microscopic Artemia within 18 to 30 hours. After 24 hours, stop aerating and wait 10 minutes for the Artemia to settle to the bottom. Empty shells will float. Pour the Artemia on the mesh and rinse carefully with tap water to feed the animals.
