The SunSun HXS-01 Automatic Gravel Cleaner is an excellent tool for cleaning the substrate in both freshwater and marine aquariums. It offers the option to operate in closed-loop or open-loop mode, providing maximum flexibility during maintenance. Powered directly from the mains, it eliminates the need for batteries. Its adjustable length makes it suitable for aquariums between 20 and 76 cm in height. This gravel cleaner features a quick-switch system that allows you to change between open circulation (ideal for water changes) and closed circulation (which cleans the substrate while returning filtered water back to the tank).

In closed-loop mode, the system uses a fine micro-mesh filter to trap even the smallest debris, releasing only clean water back into the aquarium. The mesh is easily removable and washable for convenient maintenance. Its robust design makes it compatible with a wide range of aquarium depths, meeting the needs of most setups. The powerful yet energy-efficient pump, equipped with a stainless steel and titanium alloy impeller shaft, ensures durability and makes the unit suitable for use in saltwater tanks as well.
