The filter is supplied as standard with two separate baskets for filter media. The baskets can be easily and individually detached from the filter to access their interior. The filter pump forces water circulation through both baskets, or through just one basket if required, as it is possible to connect only a single basket. The baskets are cleverly integrated with the pump, creating a solid and compact unit. Why does the filter have baskets for filter media? The baskets can be used effectively to modify the water filtration properties. If unwanted water parameters occur, the filtration can be supported with media such as Organ-Ex, activated carbon, bio-ceramic media, Neo Media, bio-balls and other filter inserts. The spacious baskets can be filled freely according to requirements. Their order can also be changed freely. Is this filter better than standard internal filters? The ability to add any filter media is a great convenience for the user and a significant advantage of the product. This feature makes the filter considerably superior to many comparable alternatives. Flow rate adjustment: The filter is equipped with a clever and smooth flow rate adjustment system. This makes it possible to adjust the filter power to the aquarium capacity and to the type of filter media being used. Aeration in the Turbo filter: The set includes a complete kit of connectors and hoses for water aeration. The user can use this function, but the filter design does not force it to be used. The aeration function also allows the aeration output to be adjusted thanks to a special air valve, which is also included in the set. The valve has a special rubber design that reduces noise generated by the movement of water and air.
