Feeding by age

Kittens have different nutritional needs from adult cats and generally need a kitten-specific formulated food (wet or dry, or a mix) that is more calorie- and nutrient-dense to support rapid early growth.

Very young kittens need small, frequent meals – your vet or the kitten’s previous carer can advise on an appropriate schedule for its exact age.

Check for small gaps behind appliances or furniture a curious kitten could get stuck in
Keep windows and balcony doors secured, especially in upper-floor homes
Introduce a kitten to other pets gradually and under supervision
